During surge of second wave in corona cases states are in efforts to provide emergency treatment for the COVID-19 patients, the authorities of the medical and health department are going to add 20 additional oxygen beds at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Narsampet, in the district within two days.
For your information let us share that the setting up of 20 additional beds in addition to 20 beds, the Narsampet CHC would become the centre with the highest number of oxygen beds in the erstwhile Warangal district among the CHCs. Hospital authorities said that Remdesivir injections were also available at the Centre.
However, here it is to be noted that the total bed strength of this CHC with Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (CEmONC) centre is 70. On the other, a government isolation centre was also set up in the town for those who do not have much space at the home to stay in quarantine.
