Varanasi: A case has been registered against 11 people for cheating, including fraud, at Cantt police station in Varanasi for absconding by grabbing crores of rupees and closing the company. Let me tell you that Varanasi is the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the country, who claims to curb the corrupt.

This action has been taken at the behest of the court. Mahesh Prasad Nishad, a resident of Ramnagar, had given an application in the court. According to Mahesh, a company named Kalpataru at PCF Plaza, located at Mint House under Cantt Police Station, collected crores of rupees from several people by promising better returns on investment. Even after the stipulated period, the money was not returned from the company and the directors have fled the city.

Investors are being threatened by the people of the company seeking refund. The company has several branches across the country. Of these, rupees deposited by people in 22 branches have been recovered. Manoj Yadav, director of the office of PCF Plaza at Mahesh's application, against other unknown accused, including Jai Krishna Rana, MC Sharma, Anup Singh, Dinesh Singh, Raju Aggarwal, Kuldeep Singh, KL Pandey, Dushyant Kumar, Rita Singh and Mukesh Kumar The Cantt police have started investigating the case.
