A letter written by Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has raised the eyebrow of the National Congress Party. Sonia Gandhi has written a letter to Uddhav Thackeray demanding to fulfil the promises made to socially backward people. Now, this thing is not liked by the third helpful National Congress Party in Maharashtra. In view of the changed attitude of the NCP, it has been said from the Congress that Sonia Gandhi's letter should be seen as a dialogue and not a confrontation. Considering the NCP's attitude, there are speculations that everything is not going well in Maharashtra.

The same Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has asked the CM of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray to take a four-point initiative including allocation of budget in the proportion of the population for the development of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities in the state. He said, Congress party is committed to the welfare of Dalit, deprived and backward classes. By joining the coalition government in Maharashtra, we are more conscious of our responsibility towards these categories.

The rumour has also intensified regarding the politics of Maharashtra because the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress, which are running the government together, have announced to contest different elections in the Gram Panchayat elections to be held in January. Earlier Uddhav Thackeray had announced that Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition in Maharashtra will now contest every election simultaneously.
