Ranchi: The trends of the Jharkhand assembly election 2019 have dealt a big blow to the BJP. The counting data, which started at 8 am, has opened the way for the Congress alliance in the state. According to the trends, to 11 am, the Congress alliance seems to be getting a clear majority. According to Election Commission data, Congress was leading in 13 seats, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha 25 and Rashtriya Janata Dal in 5 seats. This means that the Congress alliance is leading in 43 seats.

41 seats are needed for a majority in the Jharkhand Assembly. Counting of votes is going on in the 24 district headquarters of the state from 8 am. Talking of preliminary figures, the Congress alliance was seen to have a majority in the trends. Among the trends, the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Rashtriya Janata Dal alliance were leading in 41 seats and the BJP, which was going alone in the assembly elections, seemed far behind.

The benefit of the decreasing seats of the Congress alliance was visible to Sudesh Mahato's Ajsu and BJP. The AJSU, which was leading in just 2 seats, in the beginning, was suddenly ahead in 8 seats, while the BJP which was leading in 22 seats suddenly reached 35 seats.
