Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the opposition has been consistently attacking the Yogi government over law and order. Recently, a priest was attacked in Gonda after which he was referred to Lucknow in a critical condition. The Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) then lashed out at the Yogi Government on the state's power and said that the law and order situation in the state was demolished.
The opposition said that there is a nexus of 'land mafia' and power in the state which is being seen in the state. The SP, while attacking the Yogi government over the creaking law and order, said that the priests are being targeted continuously in UP, but the government is silent while the Congress has released a map on the attack on Saints in UP in the last two years, Congress state President Ajay Lallu has tweeted in this regard.
A tweet from the official Twitter handle of UP Congress says, "There have been killings of sadhus in UP in the last days. Some of the murders are cut off by the police just by telling it a suicide.' The UP Congress has shared a map that mentions crimes.
