New Delhi: The results of the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly elections are out. According to the Election Commission, BJP has so far won 17 seats in Himachal Pradesh and is leading in 9 seats. Congress is ahead in 9 seats after winning 30 seats. On the other hand, Talking about Gujarat, according to the Election Commission, after winning 97 seats in Gujarat, BJP is leading in 59 seats while Congress is leading in 10 seats after winning 7 seats. Samajwadi Party won 1 and Aam Aadmi Party won 4 seats and is leading on 1 seat.
Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi has also tweeted on the same results. He wrote, 'Heartfelt thanks to the people of Himachal Pradesh for this decisive victory. Hearty congratulations to all Congress workers and leaders. Your hard work and dedication truly deserves the best wishes for this victory. I assure again, every promise made to the public will be fulfilled at the earliest.'
Rahul Gandhi is currently on the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress party. This journey is 3500 kilometers long. In this, Rahul Gandhi will go from Kanyakumari to Jammu Kashmir. A target has been set to complete this journey in about 150 days. During this, the yatra has to pass through 12 states. Presently the yatra has reached Rajasthan.
