Jairam Ramesh did not stop here. He further wrote in his tweet that the NGT was established in the year 2010 to investigate the insensitivity of governments regarding environmental laws. Its purpose was to give opportunity to the public to hold governments accountable. Ramesh also shared the news of the NGT's order on Twitter, in which the NGT has ordered an inquiry into the construction work done in Telangana minister's farmhouse in violation of environmental regulations.

Rama Rao said that it has already been made clear that I am not the owner of that property. He said that he will find a legal way to expose the lies. On 6 June, while hearing the petition of Congress MP Rewant Reddy, the southern bench of the NGT had directed to investigate the allegations of illegal construction in violation of environmental rules.
