A few days ago, 5 of his employees at the Delhi office were also found to be infected with corona. Mallikarjun Kharge had arrived on the Karnataka Congress padayatra before becoming corona positive. The padayatra sought implementation of the Mekedatu project across the Kavery River.
At the same time, the Covid guideline was also severely violated during the padayatra. This was followed by an FIR against Kharge and state party unit president DK Shivakumar, TOP Siddaramaiah and Veerappa Moily in the Karnataka Assembly for violating corona protocol.
