Lucknow: Voting in 2 phases has been completed in Uttar Pradesh. While on the one hand the leaders are not failing to even attack each other's religions in the war of words, on the other hand some leaders are also seen creating social harmony. One such incident has come to light from Banda in Uttar Pradesh. Congress' star campaigner Naseemuddin Siddiqui, who came to campaign in Banda's Tindwari assembly, attended the Ram Janaki festival in place of the famous Mangraha Baba.

While giving a speech from the stage, Naseemuddin Siddiqui said that in order to get my respect, I have to respect you. Similarly, to get respect for my religion, I have to respect Hinduism too. He further said that I have also worked in Ramlila. I know that any program starts with the worship of Ganesh ji.

After this, the Congress leader performed Ganesh Vandana in front of hundreds of Ram devotees present there. After Ganesh Vandana, Naseemuddin went ahead for public relations, saying that he would vote for the Congress candidate. The people of the committee gave a grand welcome to former minister Naseemuddin. Let us inform that the program of Ramjanki Mahotsav is going on for the last few days in Mangraha Baba Sthan Nari of Tindwari.
