New Delhi: Congress leader Sandeep Diksit has urged Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena to register a case under IPC section 420 against Delhi Chief Minsiter  Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly spreading "misinformation" for political motives.

Sandeep Dixit, the son of former Delhi CM Sheila Dixit, tweeted that he had asked for an investigation into the situation after meeting with the Lieutenant Governor on Friday. He wrote, "Met LG Delhi and told him to institute an enquiry into all the different corruption charges that @ArvindKejriwal @msisodia and their media and party lapdogs have been circulating about me in the previous 8 years and either prosecute me or establish them as liars
Sandeep Dixit has alleged that Arvind Kejriwal has issued advertisements by sharing wrong data related to PWD schemes, which is directly a case of IPC section 420.

"Arvind Kejriwal frequently asserts that construction projects like flyovers will save the government money, but he subsequently publishes deceptive advertisements. The data, however, indicate that the assertions made by Arvind Kejriwal in the advertising are false, the politician added. Sandeep Dixit also charged CM Kejriwal with "misusing" monies obtained at the non-profit from the UNDP.

"The money collected under UNDP was abused by Arvind Kejriwal at the NGO where he previously worked. Only after the money was sought from him did he later return a lump sum of Rs. 50 lakh. This is a case of outright corruption, and Kejriwal should be the subject of an investigation," he added.

In response to the accusations made by Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, Sandeep Dixit also demanded an investigation on himself. Sandeep Dixit continued to criticise the AAP National Convenor, saying, "Arvind Kejriwal also degraded the reputation of my mother, the late Sheila Dixit, for political interests. Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia falsely claimed that Sandeep Dixit owns the business that produces electronic power metres in order to defame me.
"Kejriwal lied when he said that I owned the orange-colored cluster buses. He falsely claimed that I also own the business installing water metres for Delhi Jal Board, which is another false statement," he said.

Sandeep Dixit has pleaded with the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to look into these accusations. He has said that a FIR should be lodged against Arvind Kejriwal if it is discovered that the Delhi chief minister intentionally attempted to damage Sandeep Dixit and his deceased mother Sheila Dixit.

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi who oversaw 18 cabinet departments, was detained by the CBI on February 26 in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case. In connection with an alleged money laundering case, Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain has also been detained for months. Both ministers then resigned from their posts.
