Ahmedabad: The Congress retaliated on Saturday (December 3) by raising the issue of PM Narendra Modi abusing them. The Congress said that the Prime Minister should not become Shameplant, but should face criticism. Let us tell you that this comment of the Congress has come to the fore at a time when PM Modi has raised the issue of abusing him by Congress leaders several times during the Gujarat assembly election campaign.

PM Modi while addressing a rally on Friday (December 2) had said that the Congress knows only two things, first abusing Modi before the elections to please the voters and then blaming the EVMs after the voting is over. PM Modi had said at another rally on Thursday (December 1) that there was a competition among Congress leaders as to who would use the most abuses against him. On this, the national spokesperson of the Congress, Supriya Shrinate, when asked about this issue in the press conference, said that he is the Prime Minister and we all respect him, but he should also maintain the dignity of his post. 

The Congress spokesperson said I want to ask you, why do they become Shameplant? You are the Prime Minister of the country, you will be criticized 10 times, you will be asked 10 questions. If you have been elected by the country and made you sit on such a high position, will not your responsibility be nailed? He said that, if someone asks questions, it is said that you are insulting the Prime Minister. How long will you hide behind your mindless spokespersons? Let us tell you that in the Gujarat elections, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called PM Modi as Ravana, while former Congress MP VS Ugrappa called him Bhasmasur. PM Modi was referring to these things in his speeches. However, even before this, Sonia Gandhi has called PM Modi a merchant of death and Mani Shankar Aiyar has called him a lowly man.
