New Delhi: RPN Singh, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, has been targeted by his old party. Party spokesperson Supriya Shrinate attacked Singh saying it was a big fight. Cowards can't fight it. This difficult battle can only be fought with courage, bravery, fearlessness because this fight is being fought against a conceited government, their arrogance, their agencies, capitalism and all kinds of slander. It needs to fight. This is a war of truth.
Supriya Shrinate said that Priyanka Gandhi Ji says that cowards cannot fight this war. We wish those who are going wherever they are going, on our behalf, for their bright future and hope that perhaps in time they will come to know that fighting the battle with all effort is a sign of heroes. It may be recalled that RPN Singh had resigned from the Congress on Tuesday. RPN has been a three-time MLA and a one-time MP.
He was also in the core committee of the Congress and was in charge of Jharkhand. RPN has held several key positions in Congress. There is talk that RPN Singh's wife Sonia Singh may enter the fray from Padrauna on a BJP ticket. Swami Prasad Maurya is also likely to contest from the same seat. Sources said the BJP may send RPN Singh to the Rajya Sabha.
