Guwahati: Congress leader has called PM Modi a Hindu Jinnah and said that we will not allow India to become a Hindu nation. These leaders are none other than veteran Congress leader and former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi. He has hit out at Prime Minister Modi for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Gogoi said that PM Modi is a Hindu Jinnah.

Along with this, Gogoi also said that PM Modi is also following the 'Two Nation Theory' of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who divides India on the basis of religion. Gogoi also strongly condemned the violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. He said that, 'PM Modi alleges that the Congress speaks the language of Pakistan, but has reduced itself to the level of the neighboring country. He is moving towards the two-nation theory of Jinnah and has emerged as the Hindu Jinnah of India. '

He has said that the manner in which protests have taken place across the country regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Civil Register (NRC), shows that people have rejected the idea of 'Hindutva' of the BJP and its allies. Gogoi said, 'We are Hindus, but do not want to see our country becoming a Hindu nation. Among those who protest are Adhiktar Hindus, who have rejected the Hindutva of BJP and RSS.
