Mumbai: A section of the Congress is upset over the meeting of Congress leaders with former Jammu and Kashmir CM Ghulam Nabi Azad. Now there is a demand to take action against former Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan for speaking against former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Earlier on Tuesday (August 30), former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Anand Sharma and Chavan had visited Azad's house and met him. At the same time, party leaders are preparing to open a front against Hooda regarding this meeting.

Indian Overseas Congress secretary Virendra Vashisht has cornered Chavan for making statements against Rahul. He has also sent an e-mail to Tariq Anwar, the head of the party's disciplinary committee, in this regard. He has demanded action against Chavan. Virendra Vashisht has written ''I want to draw your attention to the false claims made by Prithviraj Chavan regarding the internal elections of the Congress Party. I demand action against Prithviraj Chavan for lying against Rahul Gandhi.''

Let me tell you that the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) held on August 30 has intensified many political discussions. The special thing is that a few days after Azad resigned, these three leaders involved in G-23 met Azad. At the same time, Azad has also been constantly attacking Rahul since his resignation to interim president Sonia Gandhi. In the letter, he had raised big questions about Rahul's leadership, calling him childish and immature.
