Raipur: Congress party MLA from Chhattisgarh's Mahasamund Assembly Vinod Chandrakar has been accused of misconduct with a female employee of Air India at Raipur Airport. It has been told by Air India that the boarding time of the MLA was at 05.30 and he reached at 06.30. When the woman employee informed her about this, she shouted at him. It has been written in the report that the boarding card of the MLA was written at 05.30 am, except for five passengers in the plane, all the passengers were on board. Frequent announcements were also made in the security hold area and the flight in the check-in area was until 06.12 am.

It has also been told in the report that a passenger has informed that other people are on the way. The passengers waited till 06.13 am by Air India Raipur Airport Manager, an officer and a Customer Service Agent (CSA). Even after this, when the passengers did not arrive, the flight was closed at 06.30, closing the flight door at 06.18.

Also, when asked about the allegations levelled against Congress MLA Vinod Chandrakar, he said that "I am an MLA. I know how to treat a person. I reached the airport at around 05.30 am and my luggage was checked twice, due to which there has been a delay. I reached the last gate at 06.05, although the lady employee of Air India started shouting at me and I was not allowed to board the plane". The legislator further said that "I challenge the female staff of Air India that if they can prove the allegations made against me are true. I urge the administration to check the CCTV footage of the airport".
