Bhopal: MLA Lakshman Singh, the younger brother of Congress party veteran and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh, has lashed out at former Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his promise. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, MLA Lakshman Singh said that Rahul Gandhi had promised before the Madhya Pradesh elections that the debt of farmers would be waived within ten days of forming the government. But this has not happened, for which Rahul Gandhi should apologize.
Along with this, Lakshman Singh has also questioned the party leadership and said that it is very difficult to reach the top leaders of the party. Recently, Lakshman Singh, without naming the top party leader, who is also the country's famous lawyer, said that he could not even get the bail of former Finance Minister Chidambaram. MLA Lakshman Singh wrote in a tweet that 'Chidambaram ji is proven innocent, clean image of the party, that's what he wished, but sadly, our advocate who was also a member of Rajya Sabha repeatedly, was not able to grant him bail.'
Let us tell you that former finance minister and veteran Congress leader P Chidambaram is currently in Tihar Jail in INX Media case and today the court has extended his detention till October 3.
