'My father died due to negligence...', claims late Santokh Singh's son

New Delhi: During the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' of former Congress National President and current Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi, party MP Santokh Singh Chowdhary passed away. The son of deceased MP Santokh Singh has cited negligence as the cause of his death. He said that if he had been treated properly, his father would have been alive.

Let us inform you that Congress Lok Sabha MP from Jalandhar Santokh Singh was also accompanying Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab on Saturday (January 14). During this, he had a heart attack and fell down. He was then taken to the hospital in Phagwara, where doctors declared him brought dead. Santokh Singh's son and Congress MLA from Phillauri Vikramjit Chowdhary said that his father was breathing on pumping while being taken in the ambulance. He said, 'The doctors present there told us to stay away, we know how to do it.' Vikramjit Chowdhary said that those doctors did not even have any equipment for emergency shock and they were in great panic.

Regarding the health of his father Santokh Singh, Vikramjit Chowdhary said that he had only undergone eye surgery in his life. He said that his father was not suffering from any kind of disease and was completely healthy. He used to get his routine checkup done every three months.
