NEW DELHI: Congress Parliament members (MPs) from both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will meet at the Congress Parliamentary Party office at the Parliament at 10.30 am on today, March 27.

As per reports, the Congress leaders will raise their protests against the Centre over the Adani issue and Rahul Gandhi's expulsion from the Lok Sabha for wearing black clothing. Congress members of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will dress in all black to attend Parliament.

Manish Tewari, a Congressman, issued a notice of an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha on Monday to debate Rahul Gandhi's disqualification.

Notably, Congress has called for a Joint Parliamentary Committee  (JPC)investigation into the Adani situation and organized rallies during the current budget session of Parliament.

The like-minded opposition leaders would gather today in the Rajya Sabha Leaders of the Opposition chamber of Parliament to talk about the plan for the floor of the house.

The opposition wants a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Adani issue, while the Treasury Benches want Rahul Gandhi to apologize for his statement in London, which they claim insulted the nation on foreign territory. It is the third week of the second portion of the Parliament session, and the legislature is still stuck in a deadlock.

Earlier on Sunday, Members of the United Democratic Front took out a torch march in Thiruvambady in Kerala's Wayanad constituency over  the Central government in the wake of the disqualification of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha who was representing the seat in Parliament.
