New Delhi: Having been sentenced Rajeev Gandhi by Surat court for two years imprisonment in a defamation case over his 'Modi surname' remark made in 2019, Congress to hold a solidarity march against the verdict.

However, he still has 30 days to appeal in the higher court. At the same time, on this action against Rahul, the Congress said that it is sending a very bad message to the world regarding the state of Indian democracy.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while holding a press conference at the Congress headquarters on Saturday (March 25) after losing the membership of Parliament, lashed out at the BJP government at the Centre. 

Rahul Gandhi once again asked questions on the relationship between Modi and Adani. He said that democracy is under attack in India. Along with this, the Congress leader also talked about removing some parts of his speech in Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi said in the press conference that, I will not stop asking questions. What is Adani's relation with Narendra Modi? I will keep asking this. I am fighting for the democracy of India. I will keep fighting for democracy. I am not afraid of anyone. 

Rahul Gandhi said that the Prime Minister is scared of my speech on Adani and I have seen it in his eyes, so attention was first diverted from the issue and then I was disqualified. Let us tell you that the Adani case is currently in the Supreme Court and the expert committee of the apex court is investigating which rules and regulations have been violated by the Adani group and how much truth is there in the allegations leveled against them.
