Bangalore: Section-144 has been imposed around schools in several districts of Karnataka. These restrictions have been imposed in Udupi, Shivamogga and Dakshina Kannada districts. All the Congress MLAs and MLCs have made a plan to protest against the statement of Minister Eshwarappa with the saffron flag. At the same time, an altercation broke out between the parents of Muslim students and the teachers of the school outside the Rotary School in Mandya. The school asked the girl students to remove the hijab before coming inside, after which there was a whole controversy. The parents said that the girls will go inside the classroom and remove the hijab, but the school is not admitting them with the hijab. In the video, the parents of the girl students can be seen fighting with the teacher. In Tamil Nadu too many Muslim organizations protested against the Karnataka government.

In Coimbatore, under the banner of 'Yegatuva Muslim Jamaat', many Muslim women protested with the tricolor flag. The Women's Liberation Party also protested. At the same time, in Udupi, Karnataka, students said that the protesters want to disturb the peace, so online classes should be run only. On the burqa controversy, Karnataka Home Minister Arga Gyanendra said that the petitioners have links with some organizations and information is being collected in this regard. He said that action would be taken if found provocative.
