Congress Party constitutes Political Affairs Committee (PAC) in Telangana

Hyderabad: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has constituted a high-level Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Telangana unit. It will be headed by Telangana Congress in-charge and AICC general secretary Manickam Tagore. Senior leader Mohd. Shabbir Ali will be the convener.

Other members of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) panel include TPCC President A Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and senior leaders V Hanumantha Rao, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, K Jana Reddy and N Uttam Kumar Reddy, T Jeevan Reddy, Renuka Chowdhury, P. Balaram Naik, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, Poddem Veeraiah, Anasuya (Sithakka) and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. All Working Presidents of TPCC, Chairmen of Committees approved by All India Congress Committee, AICC Secretaries of Telangana and all AICC Secretaries of Telangana have also been included as members of the Committee.

The committee will meet on regular basis and direct the decision makers and responsible leaders of TPCC to discharge their duties to strengthen the Congress. The PAC will also prepare the party strategy and will also prepare district wise party program in consultation with the Congress committees. The PAC will visit the districts and hold meetings with leaders to address the challenges of the ruling TRS emerging as a strong political alternative till the next assembly elections in the state.
