The Congress continues to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Citizen Register at Delhi's Rajghat. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has also arrived to participate in this dharna.

At the same time, picketing outside Delhi's Shaheen Bagh and Jamia Millia Islamia University continues on Monday.

People in Jamia Millia Islamia and Shaheen Bagh are continuously protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Civil Register (NRC). On one hand, slogans were raised at Jamia Gate for the tenth consecutive day on Sunday, while on the eighth day of the protest in Shaheen Bagh, the number of protesters was quite low.

On Sunday, protesters were also protesting against the CAA and NRC at Gate number 7 of Jamia. The number of women and children was more in the demonstration. People were protesting against the lathi-charge done by the Delhi Police brutally in Jamia through banners and posters. Here students also launched a signature campaign to protest against the CAA. He says that the central government is playing with the basic spirit of the Constitution. Students sat in front of the banner writing the Preamble of the Constitution and shouted slogans against the CAA. During this time the one-way road was completely closed. Vehicles on both sides are being removed from the same lane.
