NEW DELHI: Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress president, is set to unveil the party's manifesto for the upcoming Telangana Assembly polls on Friday. This announcement comes amidst a flurry of campaign activities with Rahul Gandhi slated to address three public gatherings in the state, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra embarking on a campaign trail in Rajasthan.
Scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. at the state party headquarters, Kharge will officially present the Congress manifesto, followed by a public address in the Quthbullapur Assembly area at 5.30 p.m. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, the MP from Wayanad, will kickstart his public engagements at 11.45 a.m. with a meeting in Pinapaka, Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Subsequently, he will address another gathering at 1.30 p.m. in Narsampet, Warangal district, where he plans to conduct a one-kilometer padayatra before a corner meeting in Warangal East.
Simultaneously, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress General Secretary, will be actively campaigning in Rajasthan, which is slated for Assembly polls on November 25. Her schedule includes two public meetings in Rajasthan--firstly at Sagwara at 12 p.m. and later at Chittorgarh at 2 p.m.
Telangana, with its 119-member Assembly, is set to vote on November 30, coinciding with Rajasthan's polling date. The final tally of votes for both states will be disclosed on December 3 during the counting process.
