Fatehpur Sikri: On Monday, Congress general secretary for eastern Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi fumbled during one of her speeches but corrected herself soon after. Addressing a rally in Fatehpur Sikri, Priyanka while talking about the Congress manifesto said that there were several schemes that will provide "free health" to all. Realising her mistake, Priyanka smilingly corrected herself in the next sentence and said "free health facilities" not "health."

Here it is to be noted that then Priyanka went on to target PM Modi over the BJP's poll campaign asserting that false propaganda was being disseminated through the saffron party's campaign. Questioning the BJP's nationalist fervour, Priyanka said "If you claim to be nationalist, then please respect those who have given the color to the Constitution. If you are a nationalist, then stop speaking about Pak in your campaigns." Launching a scathing attack over BJP's five-year tenure, Priyanka said that the youth is unemployed, farmers are worried and indebted and termed the development claim of the Modi-led Centre as a "farce." Evoking the issue of mob lynching, Priyanka trained gun at PM Modi and asked why Modi was talking about Pakistan and why are the families of men who were lynched not consoled.

However it is worth mention here that speaking after Priyanka, Rahul Gandhi raised questions over BJP's advertisement funding. "Switch on TV-Narendra Modi, switch on a radio-Narendra Modi, walk on the roads-Narendra Modi. Where does all this money for publicity come from?,” asked Rahul. Congress state unit chief Raj Babbar is contesting from Fatehpur Sikri and is against BJP's Raj Kumar Chaher and BSP's Rajveer Singh. Last time, Babbar had lost his security deposit in Ghaziabad contesting against BJP's VK Singh. In 2009 he had lost from Fatehpur Sikri parliamentary constituency against BSP's Seema Upadhyay.
