After state government minister Satpal Maharaj quarantined the chief minister and other ministers after the Corona transition, state Congress vice president Jot Singh Bisht demanded imposition of President's rule. Soon after, two senior party officials Vijay Saraswat and Dhirendra Pratap described Bisht's statement as his personal statement. The very next day, party vice-president Suryakant Dhasmana demanded imposition of President's rule in the state.
