Lockdown 5 exemption seems to be overshadowing the public. Because corona infection is continuously spreading. Congress Committee once again surrounded the government on the issue of the quarantine centres. State Congress President Pritam Singh said that due to the disorder in the quarantine centres, the migrant people are losing their lives. So far in Pauri district, many such cases have come to the fore. This has exposed the arrangements of the state government.

State Congress President Pritam Singh held a meeting with party leaders in the state office on Thursday to discuss the current situation of the corona epidemic. Expressing concern over increasing cases of corona infection, the government has been asked to increase testing capacity. State President Pritam Singh said that the corona infection has spread even in the mountain districts. Pritam Singh also interacted with the district presidents over the telephone. State General Ministers Organization Vijay Saraswat, State Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana, Rajiv Mahash, Harikrishna Bhatt, Ajay Singh, Lalchand Sharma, Garima Dasouni, AICC member Ajay Negi, Dewan Singh Tomar of Data Department were present in the meeting. On this occasion, State General Secretary Harikrishna Bhatt presented a machine to the state president Pritam Singh for the sanitation of the Congress building complex.

Apart from this, the tussle between Congress leaders in the state has started intensifying once again. Former Secretary of the All India Congress Committee Prakash Joshi has written a letter to the state Congress president Pritam Singh, objecting to the contradictory rhetoric of senior Congress officials. In the letter, he said that in the time of Corona epidemic, the party is getting uncomfortable due to contradictory statements of senior party officials. After state government minister Satpal Maharaj quarantined the chief minister and other ministers after the Corona transition, state Congress vice president Jot Singh Bisht demanded imposition of President's rule. Soon after, two senior party officials Vijay Saraswat and Dhirendra Pratap described Bisht's statement as his personal statement. The very next day, party vice-president Suryakant Dhasmana demanded imposition of President's rule in the state.
