Surjewala wrote in a tweet that now in Haryana, only school teachers will count alcoholics. ' Randeep Surjewala has posted a government letter issued in Karnal district in his tweet, which is in the name of district education officers. It states that the education officer should give a report within a week and tell how many people, students or staff members are drug addicts or alcoholics in each block. It has been said to seek help from the school principal or headmaster for counting them.

Randeep Surjewala taking a dig at the Haryana government on this instruction, has asked that when the schoolmaster will count the alcoholics, when will they teach the children. Earlier, Surjewala also targeted the Haryana government for the report of the SIT set up to investigate the liquor scam. The Congress leader said that during the Corona epidemic, there was a public liquor scam in Haryana and unaccounted liquor was sold at throwaway prices. Surjewala has blamed the BJP and JJP's coalition government for this.
