Many states of India have become victims of Coronavirus. But even then crimes are happening in the state. Akali-Congress workers got involved in Panchayati land in Chhoti Chanarathal, the village of Fatehgarh Sahib. During this, the son of Akali Dal District President fired on the Congressmen. Congress worker Kulwinder Singh Kinda was killed in this attack, while four people including the Congress sarpanch were injured. The injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital Fatehgarh Sahib. One seriously injured has been referred to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala.

As soon as the information was received about the incident, SSP Amneet Kaundal reached the spot with the top officials and took stock of the situation. The SSP said that the police are raiding the targets of the attackers. Police was engaged in action based on the statement of Congress sarpanch. Shiromani Akali Dal, who fired the bullet, is said to be the son of District President Swarn Singh Charanathal.

In the civil hospital, Ilarat Sukhwinder Singh Putra Pal Singh, Sarpanch Gurbaz Singh Raju son Sukhdev Singh, Varinder Singh son Charan Singh, Jagtar Singh son Gurdev Singh resident Chanarthal Chhoti told that regarding the dispute over the land of Shamlat village Akali leaders attacked him. At the Civil Hospital Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr Jeevan Jyoti said that in view of Sukhvinder Singh's serious condition referred him to Patiala.
