Kochi: The reaction of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has come to the fore on the Karnataka Hijab/Burka controversy. He expressed his opinion on this issue while talking to the news channel News 18. During this, he bluntly said that those who do not like to wear uniform in educational institutions, they can go out. According to Arif Mohammad, discipline is very important in school and college. He said that, 'If someone does not like the uniform, then he should leave the institute, follow the discipline and there should be no attempt to break the discipline, because discipline is the foundation of the institutions.'
He further said that life cannot go on without discipline. When you finish your education and when you go out, wear whatever you want. Arif Mohammad Khan said that the students were aware of the dress code. Even after this, he had intentionally enrolled in educational institutions. They could not suddenly revolt against it. He said that, 'Students are being used for some political, covert purposes'.
The Governor of Kerala further said that, 'I believe that who wears what, there should never be a dispute. It is the right of every person. The only condition is that there should be decency, there should be civilization, there should be culture. The one who is in the army cannot say that I will wear whatever I want, the policeman cannot say that I will wear whatever I want.'
