New Delhi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday (September 15, 2021) made another controversy over Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, with a wrong reference. His intention was to corner his RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, but users on social media started criticizing Rahul.

In fact, at a meet organized by the All India Mahila Congress, Rahul Gandhi said, "When you see Mahatma Gandhi, there are always 2-3 women around him. Have you seen a woman around Mohan Bhagwat? This is because they suppress women and our organization gives them a platform.'

In fact, Rahul Gandhi wanted his comments to show how much his party works for the empowerment of women, while the situation in the Sangh is the opposite. But social media users took it wrong and started expressing surprise at the comments made on Mahatma Gandhi that the Father of the Nation lived in a company of two or three women.

One Twitter user has asked, 'After all, Rahul Gandhi appreciates Mahatma Gandhi by saying such things or Mohan Bhagwat?' While another user commented, 'Was Gandhi a fornicator who was always surrounded by women. Rattan Sharda, who is associated with the RSS, wrote, "Thank God Mohan Bhagwat did not look like this. BJP National Secretary Vijay Rahatkar has also reacted to the issue, saying, "This man is making sexist remarks on the Father of the Nation in blindly opposing RSS. It is forgetting that there are 11 women ministers, 4 women governors, 50 MPs and more than 100 MLA in the Modi government. Moreover, the policies of the Modi government are around Nari Shakti.'
