The controversy regarding the Agneepath scheme brought for recruitment in the army is not stopping. Yes, the youth are protesting and the opposition is also targeting the central government continuously. In fact, there is a continuous counterattack from the ruling party as well. Now among all these Union Minister and former Army Chief V.K. Singh (VK Singh) has sternly heard the protesters. In fact, the former Army Chief recently said, 'We do not have any compulsion here, whoever has to come should come. Don't come if you don't like Agneepath Scheme. Who is telling you to come, you are burning buses, you are burning trains, someone told you that we will take you into the army.

With this, the central V.K. Singh further said that, 'I believe that if someone comes after serving in the army for 4 years, then he is capable and does not need any support. Army is not a means of employment. This is not a shop or a company. Whoever joins the army, goes there voluntarily. This is a voluntary scheme. Those who want to come can come. Who is asking you to come? You are burning buses and trains, someone said that you will be taken to the army?'

With this, you should know that protests are taking place in different parts of the country against the Agnipath scheme for recruitment in the armed forces. Yes, and in some places, protests turned violent and trains were set on fire. Yesterday, a joint press conference was also held by the three armies regarding this plan and it was clearly said that the Agneepath plan would not be withdrawn. Yes, now recruitment in the army will be done under this scheme only.
