Corona cases in India reached upto 1 lakh and 40 thousand

New Delhi: The highest number of cases of the corona were reported on a day for the fourth consecutive day on Monday. After about 7,000 new cases, the total infection cases in the country has crossed 1.4 lakh. The number of cases has quadrupled since May 1, the day special trains were started to take migrant labourers to their homes.

The number of deaths due to corona infection in the country has crossed 4,000, which has increased by more than three times as compared to May 1. During this period, the number of patients being treated has also increased more than three times. Since that time, the number of corona patients who have been corrected has increased more than six times to around 60,000.

Infection cases are being reported in the worst affected states of Corona, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, while in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Jharkhand, the number of patients started returning from special trains. The first three cases of the corona were reported on Monday in Nagaland, where coronavirus infection has been detected in two men and a woman who returned by special train from Chennai.
