On Sunday, the matter of playing cricket matches of Delhi Pradesh BJP President Manoj Tiwari and others at Unik Stadium Sheikhpura has caught hold.

In this regard, the Chief Inspector-in-Chief of the Operations Section of Gannaur has issued a notice to the MD of the stadium and sought a reply in 24 hours. In the notice sent to the MD of Unique Stadium, he was asked that which officer had approved the organization of the cricket match in lockdown? Was the stadium sanitized before the match? It was said that the physical distance rules were not taken care of during the match. Many players did not even wear masks.

Apart from this, Stadium MD Sanath Jain has to reply to these allegations within 24 hours. SDM Swapnil Ravindra Patil has directed that action will be taken under Section 188 for violating lockdown against others involved in matches and events if the MD of the stadium is not present with strong evidence.
