Corona cases rise again, infected figure swells to close to 2 lakh

New Delhi: Corona infection cases have once again seen a major increase. In the last 24 hours, 1,94,720 new corona cases have been reported in the country. The corona infection rate in the country has gone up to 11.05 per cent. Coming to the new variant, the cases of omicrons in India have gone up to 4868. Maharashtra and Rajasthan have the highest number of cases. Speaking of testing, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 17,61,900 samples were tested for corona infection in India yesterday on Tuesday, a total of 69,52,74,380 samples have been tested till yesterday.

India has reported 1,94,720 new cases of corona infection, 60,405 recovery and 442 deaths from corona in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, 221 new corona cases were confirmed in China yesterday on Tuesday. While 192 cases were reported the day before. According to a statement by the National Health Commission, compared to 110 a day earlier, 166 of the new infections were locally infected. The new locally aired cases came in Henan, Tianjin, Shaanxi and Guangzhou. China received 32 new asymptomatic cases. However, there have been no new deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 4,636.
