Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath while addressing press personnel at Deendayal Hospital in Aligarh on Saturday said that the third wave of corona is intense but it is not dangerous. The Government is constantly monitoring the third wave. All efforts are being made to save life and livelihood. We have also seen the first and second wave. There is no dearth of oxygen, beds, medicines this time. People are getting infected, but they are recovering soon and at home.

CM Yogi said those who do not have isolation arrangements at their homes are coming to the hospital. They are being given treatment. The UP government under the direction of PM Narendra Modi is engaged in controlling corona. He said that I had come to Aligarh during the second wave and inspected deendayal hospital today on Saturday. The hospital arrangements are good. CM Yogi said that elderly, children and pregnant women should leave the house only when necessary work is done to prevent corona.  Do use an outgoing mask. Also avoid going to crowded places.

CM Yogi said that 96 per cent of the people in Aligarh have received the first dose of corona vaccine and 57 per cent have received the second dose. Everyone should get the vaccination done to stay safe from corona. Vaccination is the biggest weapon to prevent corona. The second wave saw a shortage of oxygen and was causing deaths, but this time the situation is not there.
