Amidst the rising cases of Corona infection, the state governments have also started strictness. Masks have been made mandatory in Maharashtra. On the other hand, monkeypox has also increased the problem amidst the rapidly increasing speed of corona.

While 4270 new cases of the corona were reported across the country, 1357 new cases have been reported from Maharashtra alone. A day earlier, 1134 new corona cases were reported and 3 deaths were reported. If the number of active cases of Corona in the state reached 5888, then the state government has also come into action. Strict steps were taken to control corona.

The health minister of the Maharashtra government, Rajesh Tope, appealed to the people to use masks. He has said that people should use masks in auditoriums and schools and colleges. 1 lakh 47 thousand 865 patients have died due to corona in Maharashtra so far. On the other hand, the highest number of new cases of Corona in the country are being reported from Kerala. In Kerala, 1544 new cases of corona have been reported. The active cases of Corona in Kerala have gone up to 7972 which has increased the problem of the government. The Kerala government has said that the situation is being closely monitored.
