382 patients on Friday were found infected in Patna with the Coronavirus. According to the civil surgeon, 23 firefighters from Anandpur Fire Training Center including 35 BMP personnel were also in grip of the virus. This is the highest number of infected people found in Patna in a single day. Earlier, 218 corona patients were recorded in this district in a day. Now the total number of corona positives in the district is 1888. Recently, 58-year-old from Patna city admitted to AIIMS died from COVID-19. Now, the total number of those who died in Patna increased to 20.

The Chief in-charge of PMCH and the doctor in charge has been found infected with Covid-19. In all, 17 doctors and 18 other doctors and assistant personnel of PMCH have test positive for corona.  AIIMS has Corona infected patients from places like Bakhtiyarpur, PC Colony, Bichli Malahi flood, Ashiana Nagar, Anandpuri, SKPuri, Kankarbagh, Parvati Path Chitraguptnagar, Digha, Naubatpur, and Montessori street of Rhomb Road.

35 security guards of the BMP, guarding the VVIP residences, were found corona positive. Apart from this, COVID -19 has spread over 60 people in Patna city. Civil Surgeon Dr. RK Chaudhary said that the infected patients have been recorded from the areas surrounding Patna city. Samples of at least two thousand people were taken by his team by campaigning in the areas where they were found infected. At least one thousand reports have come from RMRI. There are still remaining reports of 998 samples in the Patna district.
