Coronavirus highlights: Rate of new active cases increased in last 24 hours

In many parts of the country, the corona and its new strain have caused a hue. Every day new active cases are increasing their number and becoming infected with the virus. The vaccination has started in India for this infection, and many million people have been given the vaccine but the havoc of covid-19 is not yet over.

After 12,689 new cases of covid-19 were reported in India in a day, the total figure of infections in the country has increased to 1,06,89527. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, the rate of recovery of patients in the country has increased to 96.91% after a total of 1,03,59,305 people were freed so far.

It has been revealed that after the death of 137 more people, the deceased number has risen to 1, 53724. The death toll from coronavirus in the country is 1.44 percent. According to statistics, 1,76,498 people in the country are currently undergoing treatment for covid-19 infection, which is 1.65 percent of the total cases. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,36,13,120 samples were tested for Covid-19 till 26th January. Out of these, 5,50426 samples were tested on Tuesday.
