The number of patients in Sangrur (60) and Patiala (45) also outpaced Amritsar (21), Jalandhar (9) and Ludhiana (14). With this, the number of corona victims in the state has increased to 5418. According to Health Department data, samples of 294448 suspected patients have been taken so far in the state. Presently, 1516 people are being treated in isolation wards of various hospitals of the state, of which 24 people are on oxygen support and 5 are on ventilators. Of the 238 people who have recovered during the last 24 hours, 124 from Ludhiana, 53 from Amritsar, 21 from Jalandhar, 11 from Kapurthala, 7 from Tarn Taran, 6 from Bathinda, 3, Pathankot, Ropar and Mansa 3-3, 2 from Mohali, Fatehgarh. Sahib, 1-1 patients from Faridkot are included. With this, the number of people who beat Corona in the state has increased to 3764.

Amritsar: Two deaths, 22 new cases found: Two infected patients died on Monday in Amritsar. The dead included a 55-year-old man living in Shocked Pass, who breathed his last in the isolation ward of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital on Monday morning. The second patient is a 71-year-old elderly resident of Sharifpur. With this, the death toll from Corona has increased to 41 in Amritsar.
