Dehradun: COVID-19 cases are increasing in Uttarakhand. Former health minister Tilak Raj Behad's health deteriorated after tested positive for coronavirus. Due to this, today he has been admitted to Delhi Max hospital.

According to the information received, he was isolated at home after getting COVID-19 positive report a few days ago. His son Saurabh told that he has a fever for the last few days. The problem of BP and sugar has also increased. ACMO, Dr Avinash Khanna, referred him to the Higher Center after seeing the situation deteriorating. He has been admitted to Max Hospital in Delhi today. It is being told that there is some improvement in his health now.

In Uttarakhand, 235 new cases of COVID-19 infection were reported on Sunday. After this, the number of patients in the state has now crossed 12 thousand. According to the Health Bulletin from the same Health Department, today the highest number of 55 cases were reported in Haridwar. Three were found in Almora, Champawat and Pauri each, 25 in Chamoli, 49 in Dehradun, 21 in Nainital, 32 in Tehri, 21 in Udham Singh Nagar and 23 in Uttarkashi. After that, now the number of infected in the state has increased to 12175. Currently, there are 3997 active cases, and 8100 patients recovered. There is a continuous increase in corona cases in the state.
