New Delhi: The situation in the capital Delhi has worsening every day due to the havoc caused by covid. As such, 27,047 new cases of covid have been reported in 24 hours. 375 patients have also been reported to have lost their lives. After which the total number of deaths due to covid has gone up to 16,147. In addition, the number of patients active in Delhi increased to 99,361.

Delhi currently has 51,616 covid patients in home isolation. The infection rate of covid here is 32. It has gone up to 69 per cent. The rate of active covid patients is 8. It has gone up to 64 per cent. When it comes to hotspots, the figure has gone up to 37,000 in Delhi, while 37,223 construction zones have been created.

With this, the recovery rate in Delhi is 89. 94 per cent has been reached. Coming to the total number of cases in the capital, the figure has reached 11,49,333. 25,288 patients have been discharged in 24 hours. Thereafter, the figure has gone up to 10,33,825. When it comes to covid testing, Delhi has conducted 82,745 tests in 24 hours. Thereafter, the total test figure in the capital has reached 1,71,51,785.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Shoaib Iqbal has requested that president's rule should be imposed in the capital. Delhi MLA from Matiamahal Shoaib Iqbal has made the demand over the prevailing situation in Delhi due to covid. Not only that, he has also requested the High Court that in view of the chaos prevailing in Delhi, president's rule should now be imposed here. The MLA complains that patients in Delhi are not getting medicines or hospitals and oxygen, so there is no hearing of the people.
