In Telangana, 1,607 corona virus positive cases and six new deaths were reported till 8 pm on Friday. The number of confirmed cases in the state reached 2,48,891, while the death toll reached 1,372. Meanwhile, recovery in the state reached 2,27,583 with 937 new persons recovering in a single day.

Currently, there are 19,936 corona virus cases, of which 17,134 are homes or institutional isolation. Between Thursday and Friday, there were 44,444 tests, including 19,643 primary contacts and 5,357 on secondary contacts. 1,607 results were positive in the exams and 535 reports were awaited.
