The highest number of cases on the list were reported in Rajasthan (9 cases) and Maharashtra (9 cases). As a result, the Madhya Pradesh government has identified a threat and instructed that investigation and surveillance be intensified in areas bordering neighbouring states. It has also been directed to undertake corona checks on passengers aboard trains passing through certain states as a matter of course. Jhabua, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Guna, Shivpuri, Sheopur, and Morena are among the cities on the list. Gujarat is bordered by the districts of Jhabua and Alirajpur.
