Chennai : Corona cases are increasing daily in Tamil Nadu, now it has increased again to two thousand. Questions have been raised as to whether the next wave has begun as the impact is increasing in areas including Chennai and Coimbatore, which are more populated.

Permission has been denied to open shops in key places, including The Nagar, which is more crowded in Chennai. From yesterday (August 3) in Coimbatore district, vegetable, grocery, bakery and tea shops will be allowed to operate only from 6 am to 5 pm. Fish and meat shops are allowed to operate only from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Tasmac liquor stores are only allowed to operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tourist sites and museums are closed to the public. All parks are closed to the public on Sundays only. Malls and multi-storey shopping malls in the district will be closed on Sundays. Also apply the procedures already announced for restaurants in malls. Pollachi cattle market will be closed from today (August 4). Control measures have been implemented in several districts like Chennai, Coimbatore and Perambalur due to the spread of corona and it is expected that these will be implemented in other areas soon.
