The work of the inquiry committee set up by the Supreme Court (SC) to investigate the Bikeru scandal and Vikas Dubey encounter in Kanpur in UP has been stopped. However, after news of a person coming Corona positive, all the members of the committee have been home quarantined. Everyone's corona is being investigated. Two days ago, the members of the committee started the investigation by going to Bikaru village in Kanpur. Due to the home quarantine, it was expected to pull the investigation further.

According to the information, the investigation team reached Bikaru village two days ago. During this time, the members of the committee inspected the opportunity, and also inspected the demolished house of Vikas Dubey. The team also questioned many people in the village during this period. The investigation report of the assistant of a retired judge involved in the committee has come corona positive. Since the report came out positive, all the people involved in the committee are being subjected to the corona examination. Home quarantine is a precaution. Considering this situation, the pending investigation is considered to be fixed.

Apart from this, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating UP's Bikeru scandal and Vikas Dubey encounter has been given some more time to submit the investigation report. The SIT first had to submit its report to the government on 31 July. However, the date of 31 July passed and the SIT sought more time from the government for it. Now the government has given time till August 30, accepting the demand of SIT. By August 30, the SIT will have to investigate the entire case and send a report.
