58.13% of patients suffering from epidemic corona infection have recovered after getting their treatment. According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of healthy patients is about one lakh more than the active cases. However, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in the country has crossed five lakh but active cases are less than two lakhs. The active case refers to those patients who are being treated in the hospital.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Saturday, a record 18,522 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours and the total number of infected patients increased to 5,08,953. During this time, 384 people have lost their lives. So far 15,685 people have died due to this epidemic. So far, 2,95,880 patients have been fully recovered and the number of active cases is 1,97,387. The number of patients recovered from active cases is 98,493 more.

The recovery rate of patients in Gujarat is 72.8%, 70.9% in Jharkhand, 65.9% in Uttarakhand and 65-65% in Uttar Pradesh and Bengal. According to the data received from the PTI and other sources from states and union territories till 8 pm, 15,707 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. 380 people have died during the last twenty-four hours, with the highest being 167 in Maharashtra, 68 in Tamil Nadu, 66 in Delhi, 19 in Uttar Pradesh, 19 in Gujarat, 13 in Bengal, 13 in Andhra Pradesh, nine in Rajasthan, Haryana. Includes seven deaths and one each in Puducherry and Odisha.
