The University of Russia, which first claimed to make covid-19 medicine, is planning to make available to the affected patients by August. This drug has been found safe for humans in small-scale human trials. Moscow's Sechenov University had completed clinical trials on 38 volunteers. The Russian Army also completed all the parallel tests in 2 months at the Government Gamalai National Research Center. Alexander Ginzburg, head of the Center, told the state media that he hopes the drug will be made available between August 12 and 14. According to Alexander, private companies will start mass production of the drug from September.

According to the Center Head, the drug has proven to be completely safe in human trials. When patients will be given the medicine in August, it will be like its phase 3 test because those who get the dose will be monitored. The safety of a vaccine/drug is usually tested at Stage 1 and 2 so that a large group can be tested at Stage 3.

The institute started the trial on 18 June. Nine volunteers were given 1 dose and the team of other 9 volunteers received booster dose. No volunteers saw any side effects of the drug and were discharged from medical care on Wednesday. 2 teams of volunteers will be discharged on Wednesday next at Sechenov University. They were given a dose on 23 June. Now all these will remain in isolation for 28 days so that no one else has the infection. These volunteers, aged 18 to 65, will be monitored for 6 months.
