ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has installed 16 thousand feet artificial turf in the premises of Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara to facilitate the devotees barefoot in summer. This information was given by a top official on Monday. Sikh devotees of Pakistan are coming here since the gurdwara opened for three months due to Coronavirus epidemic on June 29.
Aamir Hashmi, spokesperson of the Displaced Trust Property Board told PTI, "The AstroTurf was installed on the floor of the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib last week." He says that a 16-foot artificial turf has been installed in the gurudwara courtyard as devotees have to walk on the marble floor barefoot and it is very difficult to walk or sit on it during this summer season. Keeping in mind COVID-19, India canceled the visit and registration of Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara on March 16, after which devotees of India are not going there yet.
Pakistan opens Wagah border for trade with Afghans: Pakistan has played another trick against India. It has announced the opening of its Wagah border with India to restore Afghan exports. This action of Pakistan can be understood from the fact that Pakistan has announced opening of border with India besides restoring its border with Afghan border to restore bilateral trade with Afghan. The borders of all countries including India are sealed between the coronavirus infection. That is, movement from one country to another has stopped. In such a situation, the attic of the Indian outpost adjacent to Pakistan has also been kept closed. Because of which Pakistan also closed the Wagah border with India in mid-March.
