On Thursday evening, Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat has ordered the Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh to take action to consider keeping the lockdown on Saturday and Sunday. Due to this, the boundaries of the state will also remain sealed. Thereafter, the Chief Secretary has called a high-level meeting on Friday. In this meeting, the day of lockdown and complete arrangements will also be decided. 199 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the entire state on Thursday.

In view of the growing cases of Corona, CM held discussions with Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and Health Secretary Amit Negi late in the evening and expressed concern over the increasing number of patients. And he further said that every possible step should be taken to control it. If necessary, along with sealing the boundaries of the state, steps should also be taken seriously on the complete lockdown of the state on Saturday and Sunday. And now more emphasis will be laid on controlling the corona.
