Dehradun: Rising corona cases have added to the woes across the country, while the rapidly increasing graph of corona infection in Uttarakhand is also adding to the woes. 2,915 new positives have been found in the last 24 hours. Three corona patients have died due to this. Corona has also knocked into Raj Bhavan. The Raj Bhavan Secretariat has issued a written order confirming this and stating that Raj Bhavan will remain closed on January 13 and 14 to monitor all the offices of Raj Bhavan.

According to the same health department, the test report of 22,906 samples has come out negative on Wednesday. In 13 cities, 2,915 people were found corona positive. 1,361 infected have been found in the Dehradun district. 424 in Nainital, 374 in Haridwar, 217 in UdhamSingh Nagar, 119 in Champawat, 131 in Pauri, 85 in Almora, 63 in Tehri, 70 in Pithoragarh, 34 in Bageshwar, 27 in Chamoli, nine in Rudraprayag, one in Uttarkashi district. The same AIIMS Rishikesh, Sushila Tiwari government medical college Haldwani and Base Hospital Kotdwar, one patient died each. So far, 7,433 patients have died.

The same 1,385 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. In addition, 3,34,700 patients have overcome the infection so far. The decline in the number of recoverers as compared to the infected has increased the number of active cases. At present 8,018 active patients are undergoing treatment. The state's recovery rate has reached 93.70 per cent and the infection rate has reached 11.29 per cent on the basis of sample testing. The same Uttarakhand Raj Bhavan has been staggered by a large scale corona employee getting positive. Thereafter, Raj Bhavan has been closed for two days.
