New Delhi: Corona has picked up pace in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2 lakh 47 thousand 417 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. Let me tell all of you that the number of active corona patients in the country has increased to 11 lakh 17 thousand 531 after the new cases came to light. On the other hand, 154.61 crore vaccine stake has been administered so far under the nationwide immunization drive. Let me tell all of you that the Report of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has revealed that the number of omicron infected people in India has reached close to 5,000.

Yes, it is said that 4,868 cases of new corona variant omicrons have been registered in the country so far. Maharashtra topped the list with 1,281 cases and Rajasthan with 645 cases. After these two States, 546 cases of omicron have been reported in Delhi so far. With this, cases of Karnataka (479), Kerala (350), West Bengal (294), Uttar Pradesh (275), Gujarat (236), Tamil Nadu (185) and Haryana (162) have been reported. According to reports, out of the total number of omicron patients found so far, 1,805 have been cured.

At present, there are 3,063 cases of omicrons in the country. Recently, the Health Ministry has said, "The corona positivity rate on December 30 was 1.1 per cent which increased to 11.05 per cent on January 12. It is also being said that the ever increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, UP, Kerala, Gujarat are currently a matter of concern.
